Michael’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, private equity acquisitions and divestitures, and debt and equity financings. Michael also represents his clients in general corporate matters, including commercial leasing transactions, employment agreements, negotiating governing documents, employee incentive plans, technology transactions, and negotiating various complex commercial transactions. Michael joined the firm as a transactional attorney in 2017.
Prior to joining the firm, Michael was a legal extern at MPM Capital, a healthcare venture capital firm investing in life sciences companies. At Boston University School of Law, Michael served as a research assistant and was a member of the Review of Banking and Financial Law (“RBFL”). RBFL published Michael’s note entitled “BitCoin: The Case Against Strict Regulation” in 2017. Before entering law school, Michael graduated, in only five semesters, with a Bachelor of Science, summa cum laude, in Economics from Clemson University.
